Cleanway joined MENRO-Imus' Plant a Tree: Make your Community Carbon Free together with its principal sponsor San Miguel Yamamura Packaging Corporation. The program aims to rehabilitate the greenery along the Daang-Hari Road in Barangay Anabu II Imus, Cavite. This new road connects Emilio Aguinaldo Highway to Molino, Bacoor and extends to Alabang. The trees will maintain the environmental equilibrium given the perceived increase in carbon emissions as consequence of this new road network.

Cleanway was invited by Cavite PGENRO's Chief, Engr. Rolinio Pozas in the event. The company joined the team of MENRO Imus under Ms. Baby del Mundo along with volunteers from PGENRO, PENRO, MENRO, local schools and employees from the sponsoring company. Mr. Eduardo C. Reyes of San Miguel Yamamura headed the company's delegation.

Cleanway sent Ms. Rowena Platil, Ms. Gladys Visaya, Ms. Karen Colansi and Mr. Phillip Medina as representatives in this eco-event.
