ECO 1001 Challenge: A SUCCESS!
Volunteers marveled at the 162 descending steps through a forest and were even more surprised to take a two-storey spiral staircase winding down to the riverbank where they planted mahogany and acacia seedlings with the hope that these would continuously preserve the pristine conditions of the river. EVSU Students visit CTC Plant
From Tacloban City, graduating students of Eastern Visayas State University's Environmental Science Program visited the country's only comprehensive and fully integrated waste treatment plant last September 16 as part of their environmental excursion.

MMT Meeting held at CTC premises
Members of the Multi-Partite Monitoring Team composed of officials from the DENR-Cavite, DENR-EMB Calabarzon, LLDA, LGU-Silang, NGOs and community representatives held their meeting at the CTC plant last September 8 and 18 to discuss various issues on plant operations and environmental monitoring schemes.

CTC Fully Supports LGU's SILAY Project
Councilor Rosalie Loyola of LGU Silang initiated this education reform project for all Grade 1 students of Silang, Cavite. CTC supported this project by providing the English workbooks of all Grade 1 students from Maguyam, Kaong and Sabutan Elementary Schools.

First Aid Training
Philippine Red Cross- Cavite Chapter trained CTC personnel on the rudimentary of basic life support in a tailored course fitting emergencies in plant operations last June 28 and July 5, 2008.
