REPORTS TO:                    Technical Services / QA Head

SUPERVISES/OVERSEES:   Dailyactivities of the laboratory.

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY:

1.   Analyses and executes laboratory tests as required and maintains records of analysis.

2.   Conducts laboratory scale experiments of treatment procedures.

SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITY:

1.   Conducts physical and chemical analysis of samples from clients and from process lines.

2.   Mainstains and secures database of all analysis, calibration and other pertinent data regarding laboratory operations.

3.   Implements operational programs in the laboratory.

4.   Generates reports of the laboratory activities. Submits charging to respective cost centers for services provided.

5.   Keeps an updated inventory of laboratory equipment and supplies.

6.   Responsible for the Chemical Control Order in the plant.

7.   Assists in developing treatment procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE:

Education (Licenses and Certificates)

1.   Graduate of BS Chemistry

2.   Licensed Chemist

EXPERIENCE:

1.   Atleast one (1) year experience in laboratory work.
